OneChicago series face major cast shakeups for fall season

The NBC ‘OneChicago’ franchise is undergoing significant cast changes ahead of its fall return. Longtime stars are departing across the interconnected series, including LaRoyce Hawkins from ‘Chicago P.D.’ after 13 seasons and Joe Miñoso from ‘Chicago Fire’.

In ‘Chicago Fire’, Season 15 will introduce several new probational firefighters to Firehouse 51. Actor Da’Vinchi is set to join the cast as Marcus Burke, a character described as a roguish and defiant firefighter candidate. Additionally, Dermot Mulroney is expected to appear for only one episode as Pascal before being written out.

Cast members from ‘Chicago Med’, ‘Chicago P.D.’, and ‘Chicago Fire’ have expressed mixed emotions regarding the departures. While actors like Darren Barnet and Arienne Mandie noted that departing colleagues will be missed, they expressed optimism about the new cast members joining the productions.
