ONEflight International suspends flights amid $150 million fund risk
ONEflight International, a Colorado-based private jet charter broker, has suspended flight services for at least 30 days while it evaluates its business operations. The suspension follows reports of payment difficulties and internal efforts to reduce spending on marketing and celebrity ambassadors.
Estimates suggest that more than $150 million in prepaid customer funds may be at risk. Because ONEflight operates as a broker rather than an aircraft owner, customers who have purchased jet cards for future travel may become unsecured creditors if the company faces bankruptcy. CEO Ferren Rajput confirmed that the company does not hold customer funds in escrow.
The company’s recent history includes a 90% revenue increase in 2025, reaching $232 million, and a controversial attempt in August 2026 to implement a 35% surcharge on flight reservations, which was quickly withdrawn following customer backlash. In response to the service suspension, competing charter companies have begun offering incentives to target ONEflight customers.
