OnePlus 16 and iQOO 16 launch with high-end specifications

OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus 16, with prices starting at 5,199 CNY after regional subsidies. The device features a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. It is powered by the Qualcomm sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition processor, built on a 2nm process, and includes a 9,000mAh battery supporting 100W fast charging.

Separately, the iQOO 16 has entered the market, with the base 12GB+256GB model priced at approximately 895 USD. The high-end 16GB+1TB version is priced around 1,268 USD. The price increase compared to the previous iQOO 15 generation is attributed to rising global semiconductor and memory chip costs, as manufacturers shift capacity toward high-bandwidth memory for AI servers.
