OnePlus 16 flagship design and color options revealed

OnePlus has officially revealed design and color details for its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16, ahead of an expected launch in October. The device will be available in three colorways: Tomorrow Starlight, Dark Forest, and Martian Masterpiece. The Tomorrow Starlight variant features a unique nano-grating texture and a new breathing light design that reacts to notifications and calls.

Technical leaks and official teasers indicate the OnePlus 16 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. It is expected to feature a massive 9,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device will debut ColorOS 17 and is slated to offer a system-wide 165Hz refresh rate, utilizing new BOE X4 display material to allow for intelligent, battery-efficient stepping.

Camera specifications are expected to include a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. Memory configurations for the Chinese market are expected to range from 12GB to 16GB of RAM, with storage options up to 1TB.
