OnePlus 16 to feature 9,000mAh battery and 200MP camera

OnePlus has confirmed significant hardware upgrades for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 16, which is scheduled to launch in China on October 12. OnePlus China president Li Jie Louis confirmed via Weibo that the device will feature a massive 9,000mAh battery, representing a 1,700mAh increase over the previous generation.

In addition to the battery upgrade, the OnePlus 16 is expected to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. Other reported specifications include a 200MP main rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a high-refresh-rate display supporting up to 185Hz. The device is also slated to support 50W wireless charging.
