OnePlus Ace 7 series to launch with 185Hz display and 9,000mAh battery

OnePlus has announced the upcoming launch of its Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro smartphones, scheduled for October 29 in China. The series features significant hardware upgrades, most notably the inclusion of the fourth-generation Oriental Screen developed with BOE. This display supports a global refresh rate of 165Hz and can reach up to 185Hz in gaming scenarios, utilizing LTPO technology and the proprietary P4 Super Display Chip.

To support high-performance gaming, the devices will include a dual-airflow cooling system with an integrated fan, which OnePlus claims can reduce temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius. Both models are equipped with a 9,000mAh Glacier Battery and 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. The series also supports bypass charging to minimize heat during gameplay.

The Ace 7 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the standard Ace 7 will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V. Color options include black, white, and specialized finishes such as a gradient effect for the Ace 7 and a “Windbreaker” option for the Pro model. The devices are also rated for high-level dust and water resistance, including IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards.
