OnePlus to launch Ace 7 series with active cooling system

OnePlus has announced the upcoming launch of its Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro smartphones in China on October 29. The new series is designed with a focus on high-performance gaming, featuring an industry-first Dual-Path Glacier Air Cooling System.

This cooling architecture utilizes an internal active fan and two distinct airflow paths. One path is dedicated to cooling the chipset by directing hot air away from the user, while the second path directs air across the rear panel to prevent the device from becoming uncomfortably warm during extended use. The design specifically aims to prevent finger obstruction of air intakes and minimize hand perspiration.

The Ace 7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, featuring a specialized “Wind Chaser Gaming Core.” Other rumored specifications include a 200-megapixel main camera and high-refresh-rate displays. The standard Ace 7 will be available in Tempered, Midnight Black, and Radiant White, while the Pro model will offer Windbreaker, Midnight Black, and Radiant White color options.
