OnePlus and other smartphone brands announce October launches

Several smartphone manufacturers are scheduled to release new devices in October. OnePlus is preparing to launch the OnePlus 16 in China on October 12. The device is expected to feature a 200MP ultra-large sensor main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. It will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC and includes a ‘Gun God Mode’ for optimized gaming and network performance.

Other notable upcoming releases include the iQOO 16, which features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC and an 8,400 mAh battery. In India, Xiaomi has released the Redmi 17C 5G, a mid-range device equipped with a Dimensity 6300 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery. Additionally, Oppo is scheduled to launch its mid-range F35 series on October 5.
