OnePlus begins testing global and Indian variants of OnePlus 16

OnePlus has begun software testing for global and Indian variants of the upcoming OnePlus 16 smartphone. Model numbers identified during testing include ‘CPH2901’, ‘CPH2903’, and ‘CPH2905’. Additionally, reports suggest a high refresh rate gaming model, potentially the OnePlus 16R, may feature a 185Hz refresh rate.

In China, the OnePlus 16 has officially launched with a 9,000mAh battery. The device is priced between $895 and $1,268, representing a significant price increase from its predecessor due to rising memory chip costs. While the device is available in China, its availability in North America and parts of Europe is limited, though an Indian release is anticipated around December or January.
