OnePlus 16 launched in China with 9,000mAh battery

OnePlus has officially launched its flagship OnePlus 16 in China, featuring high-end hardware designed for performance and gaming. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, built on a 2nm process.

Key specifications include a massive 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone features a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display from BOE, offering a standard 165Hz refresh rate that can reach up to 185Hz in supported gaming applications.

The camera system is headlined by a 200MP main sensor (1/1.4-inch) with f/1.4 aperture, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device also includes specialized gaming chips (P4, T3, and G3) to manage display, touch, and network latency.

In China, the OnePlus 16 starts at approximately 5,699 to 5,999 Yuan. Following the company's recent withdrawal from Western markets, the device is currently a China-exclusive release, with no official global launch confirmed for Europe or the United States.
