OnePlus N6 and Samsung Galaxy M47 debut in India with high‑capacity batteries

OnePlus announced the N6 budget smartphone for the Indian market, launching on 30 June. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300‑series processor, ships with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and is highlighted for its 8 000 mAh battery paired with 45 W SuperVOOC fast charging. A pre‑installed 45 W charger, screen protector and silicone case are included in the box. The N6 is priced between ₹18 000 and ₹25 000 and will be available through Amazon Prime Day offers starting 4 July.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy M47 5G for India, with sales beginning on 4 July via Amazon. The phone uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 6–8 GB RAM, and 128–256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. Its standout features are a 6 000 mAh battery with 45 W wired charging and a bypass‑charging mode that routes power directly to the processor during intensive use, reducing heat and preserving battery health. The M47 sports a 6.7‑inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, a triple‑camera setup (50 MP main sensor with OIS) and runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Samsung promises six years of major OS upgrades and security patches. The base model is priced at ₹22 999 (≈ $275). Both launches emphasize long‑lasting battery life and extended software support for mid‑range smartphones in the Indian market.
