OnePlus gives €100 vouchers, not replacements, for warranty claims in Europe

European OnePlus customers have reported that the company is offering €100 vouchers as compensation for defective devices instead of repairing or replacing them under the two‑year EU warranty. The vouchers can only be used on OnePlus’s online store, cannot be combined with other offers, and expire after one month, making them impractical for many users. Complaints have been posted on Reddit and other forums, with cases involving broken OnePlus Buds Pro 2 headphones and a 120 W SuperVOOC charger. Affected customers say the limited stock and discounted prices on the store render the vouchers virtually unusable, and some plan to lodge formal complaints with the European Consumer Centre.

The voucher controversy appears alongside reports that OnePlus is withdrawing from several Western markets, including the UK and the US, and refocusing its resources on stronger markets such as China and India. The combination of reduced product availability and the voucher policy has heightened uncertainty about OnePlus’s future in Europe.
