SHINee member Onew and singer Yuju have released a collaborative R&B track titled ‘Mind Games’. The digital release occurred on September 29, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. KST.
The collaboration serves as a precursor to Onew’s first solo single album, titled ‘Chakgak’ (or ‘[2]’), which is scheduled for a staggered release throughout October. The rollout includes a second title track on October 7 and the full single album with a third title track on October 20.
Musically, the duo aims to explore a more mature and sharp R&B sound, contrasting with their previous brighter vocal images. Yuju described her approach to the song as delivering a conversational dialogue to capture the emotional and psychological tension of a relationship, rather than focusing solely on technical vocal displays.
