oneworld alliance enables mileage redemption on 900+ destinations worldwide
The oneworld airline alliance, founded in 1999, brings together major carriers such as Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia and Japan Airlines. It serves more than 900 destinations in roughly 170 countries, making it one of the three largest global airline alliances. Members' frequent‑flyer programs allow passengers to earn and redeem miles across the network, access elite status benefits, VIP lounges and simplified check‑in and baggage handling.
LATAM Pass users can also book award flights on partner airlines using a fixed‑rate mileage table. The table sets a predetermined mile cost based on origin, destination and cabin, allowing predictable redemption and often lower mileage requirements for business or first‑class seats. Partner airlines offering this option include Delta Air Lines, Aeroméxico, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Lufthansa, Royal Jordanian, SWISS and Virgin Atlantic. Availability depends on seat release by the operating carrier.
