Ongjin County to host second island agricultural and fishery market

Ongjin County will hold its second island agricultural and fishery products direct transaction market on October 29 and 30. The event will take place at the Pado Plaza of the Ongjin County Office from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A total of 75 farmers and fishers from seven townships within the county will participate, offering a variety of regional specialties. Available products include agricultural goods such as sweet potatoes, rice, grains, and grapes, as well as seafood like blue crabs, clams, and rockfish. Processed goods, including anchovy sauce, kelp, seaweed, and handmade soybean paste, will also be available.

The initiative aims to expand sales channels and increase income for local producers by connecting them directly with urban consumers. To assist shoppers, a delivery service will be provided for customers who purchase more than 50,000 KRW worth of goods within the Michuhol-gu area.
