Oni Press and EC Comics announce Cruel Kingdom 2 sequel

Oni Press and EC Comics are collaborating on Cruel Kingdom 2, a six-issue limited anthology series. The sequel continues the dark fantasy and horror themes established in the original series.

The first issue, scheduled for release on September 2, will feature a short story titled ‘Fire in the Sky’ by writer Matt Bors and artist Ryan Kelly. The anthology will also include contributions from various creators, including John Arcudi, Ramón F. Bachs, Sarah Gailey, Sami Kivelä, Curt Pires, SOM, and Alison Sampson.

This release follows previous Oni/EC collaborations such as Epitaphs From the Abyss, Shellshock, and Blood Type.
