Oni Press announces Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake spinoff series

Oni Press has revealed a new four-issue comic book series titled ‘Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake’. The series features the gender-swapped, alternate-universe counterparts of Finn and Jake from the Adventure Time franchise.

Written by Jenna Ayoub and illustrated by Damali Beatty, the story follows Fionna and Cake as they attend a spectacle hosted by the Circus Kingdom at the invitation of Prince Gumball. The plot involves a confrontation when the Ice Queen arrives and attempts to take control of the event.

Oni Press editor Megan Brown stated that the project was a response to fan demand for more Fionna and Cake content.
