Oni Press announces Archie in Hell horror comic series

Oni Press has announced the upcoming release of “Archie in Hell #1,” scheduled to arrive in comic shops on November 4. The series, written by Patrick Horvath with art by Tyler Crook, follows Archie Andrews as he is cast into the underworld following a failed ritual involving a cult and a coven of witches.

To coincide with the launch, Oni Press revealed the “Pyre Satanic” variant cover illustrated by Chloe Brailsford. This cover is part of an interconnected visual set that includes previously revealed variants for “Archie #1” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1.”

Artist Tyler Crook noted that the creative approach for the series draws inspiration from mid-century book illustrations and films such as “The Witch” and “The Crucible,” aiming to blend classic Archie elements with dark, colonial horror aesthetics.
