ONIX announces Tocata XM2 Copper compact pure player

MUSIN Co., Ltd. has announced the release of the Tocata XM2 Copper, a new compact pure player under the ONIX brand. The device features a high-strength copper alloy chassis formed through precision CNC integrated processing, designed to provide a premium tactile feel and a stable operating environment for the internal audio system.

Technical specifications include a 3.0-inch OLED touchscreen and the Cirrus Logic CS4308P 8-channel flagship DAC. The player utilizes the proprietary “Brighton” I/V conversion architecture with dual OPA1612 op-amps to achieve high-fidelity sound. It supports various high-resolution formats, including PCM up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD512.

Pre-orders for the device are scheduled to begin on October 2, 2026, with the official sales launch following on October 9, 2026. To celebrate the launch, a trade-in campaign offering a 10,000 yen discount will be held at select retailers including e☆イヤホン and Fujiya Avic from October 2 to November 8, 2026.
