Onkyo announces Haruhi Suzumiya 20th anniversary collaboration earbuds

Onkyo is launching a limited-time collaboration collection to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime ‘The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’. The collection features the AOW01 MARK II true wireless earbuds and specialized wireless chargers.

The earbuds include three modes featuring newly recorded voice guidance from characters Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki Nagato, and Mikuru Asahina. Users can switch between characters via touch controls to hear unique system voices for functions such as power on/off, pairing, and noise-canceling mode changes. The hardware includes active noise canceling, IPX7 water resistance, and support for the ANIMA Studio app.

Orders for the earbuds (22,000 yen) and voice-equipped chargers (6,600 yen) will be accepted from August 28, 2026, through October 23, 2026. Products are expected to ship between late December 2026 and mid-January 2027. Physical displays will be available at the ONKYO DIRECT ANIME STORE in Akihabara starting August 28.
