Only Murders in the Building adds Doctor Who stars for London season

The sixth season of the Hulu mystery comedy ‘Only Murders in the Building’ is relocating from New York City to London, leading to a significant expansion of its ensemble cast with several ‘Doctor Who’ alumni.

Peter Capaldi, who portrayed the Twelfth Doctor, has joined the cast as a recurring guest star. He joins fellow former Doctors David Tennant and Jodie Whittaker, who are also set to appear in the new ten-part season. The casting also includes Jim Broadbent, who appeared in the 1999 ‘Doctor Who’ special ‘The Curse of Fatal Death’.

The new season features the original trio of Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, alongside a growing list of notable actors including Nicola Coughlan, Richard Ayoade, and Meryl Streep. Filming for the London-based season began in the UK this summer, with expected releases on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK next year.
