Olivia Colman joins Only Murders in the Building season 6 cast

Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman has joined the cast of the sixth season of the Hulu comedy-mystery series ‘Only Murders in the Building’. The announcement was made via a video on the show’s official Instagram account, featuring series stars Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep.

Season 6 marks a significant shift for the series as the amateur detective trio—Charles, Oliver, and Mabel—travel to London for the first time. This move follows the Season 5 cliffhanger involving the death of Cinda Canning. Production for the new season began in London in May 2026.

Colman joins a large ensemble of British talent, including David Tennant, Peter Capaldi, Jodie Whittaker, Nicola Coughlan, and Jim Broadbent. The season is expected to feature an unofficial ‘Doctor Who’ reunion due to the presence of multiple former stars of the franchise. While filming is underway, an official premiere date has not yet been announced.
