Only Murders in the Building to move setting to London for season 6

The popular mystery series Only Murders in the Building is set to undergo a major setting change for its sixth season. Following the death of character Cinda Canning in the season five finale, the protagonists Mabel, Charles, and Oliver will travel to London to investigate.

Showrunner John Hoffman addressed the decision to move the series away from its traditional New York setting, stating a desire to keep the show "fresh" and subvert expectations. Hoffman noted that while the setting is changing, the "spirit of the show" and its emotional core will remain centered in its New York roots. The new season will be available on Disney+ and Hulu.
