ONLYOFFICE releases 10.0 update with integrated AI tools

ONLYOFFICE has released its major autumn update, version 10.0, which introduces context-aware artificial intelligence tools directly into its document, spreadsheet, presentation, and PDF editors. The update includes approximately 50 new features and over 1,000 fixes across online, desktop, and mobile platforms.

The new AI capabilities feature a dedicated tab with a built-in chat to assist with drafting, summarizing, translating, and formatting content. Organizations can manage AI usage by selecting models based on cost and speed, with cloud users accessing AI via OpenRouter and server deployments capable of connecting to local models to ensure data remains within existing infrastructure.

Additionally, the release introduces four new modular apps: AI Agents for automated workspace tasks, Forms for data collection, Files for centralized storage, and Rooms for secure collaboration. Enhancements to the PDF editor include automatic table recognition and metadata removal, while the Document Editor features improved real-time co-authoring and more reliable right-to-left support.
