ONLYOFFICE releases version 10.0 with integrated AI tools

ONLYOFFICE has released its major autumn update, version 10.0, which introduces context-aware AI tools directly into its online, desktop, and mobile editors. The update includes approximately 50 new features and over 1,000 fixes.

The new AI integration features a dedicated tab with a built-in chat, allowing users to draft, summarize, translate, and format content within documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs. Organizations can manage AI usage by selecting models based on cost and speed; cloud users can utilize OpenRouter, while server deployments can connect to local models to keep sensitive data within their own infrastructure.

Additionally, the update introduces four new modular apps: AI Agents for intelligent search and reasoning, Forms for data collection, Files for centralized storage, and Rooms for secure collaboration. Enhancements to the PDF editor include metadata removal and automatic table recognition, while the Document Editor features improved real-time co-authoring and RTL support.
