Onosho and Christa Deguchi to headline Pia Talk Battle event

Pia Corporation has announced the “Life is pure Pia Talk Battle” event, scheduled for October 4, 2026, at the Edo-Tokyo Museum in Tokyo. The event will feature a discussion between two elite athletes from different disciplines: sumo wrestler Onosho and Paris 2024 Olympic gold medalist in judo, Christa Deguchi.

The participants will discuss the technical aspects of their respective sports, how they handle pressure, the mindset required to reach the top of their fields, and the overall value and appeal of competitive sports. The event is designed to be interactive, featuring a pre-event question segment via social media, a lottery for attendees, and a commemorative photo session with the speakers.
