OnStar connected vehicles in Argentina grow 70% to 135,000

Chevrolet's OnStar service has reached nearly 135,000 connected vehicles in Argentina as of July 2026, marking a 70% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The platform has achieved a 97% loyalty rate, the highest in South America.

During the analyzed period, the system handled 9,921 emergency calls, provided 72 automatic accident responses, and assisted in the recovery of 56 stolen vehicles. Argentina also leads the region in the use of ‘Acompañamiento Seguro’, a feature that allows users to have their journey monitored for safety.

Ana Rubini, leader of OnStar for Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, stated that connectivity has transitioned from a differentiator to a central part of the customer experience. Additionally, the myChevrolet app recorded 2.3 million customer interactions in the Argentine market, facilitating functions such as remote engine starting, vehicle location, and maintenance management.
