Ontario Community Walks Raise Funds for Dementia and Breast Cancer

IG Wealth Management organized a Walk for Alzheimer’s on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Laurentian University Community Track in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. The free event includes family activities such as a bouncy castle and photobooth, and aims to raise $42,000 to support local dementia education, support and connection programs.

Breast Cancer Canada’s annual Walk‑a‑Thon to Mother’s Day is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, in Mississauga, Ontario, as part of a nationwide series of walks. The event encourages community participation to fund breast‑cancer research and raise awareness across Canada.
