Ontario Corps expands partnership with stone and gravel association

The Ontario government has expanded the Ontario Corps network by adding the Ontario Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (OSSGA) as a partner. This partnership is designed to provide rapid access to heavy machinery and specialized expertise during local emergencies.

In the event of floods, wildfires, or other disasters, OSSGA members can provide equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, trucks, snow removal machinery, portable generators, and pumps. These resources are intended to assist municipalities with flood mitigation, debris cleanup, and restoration efforts. The Ontario Corps network aims to be mobilized within 24 to 72 hours to deploy personnel, supplies, and tools to impacted communities.
