Police in Ontario are investigating several serious criminal incidents across multiple municipalities. In Brampton, Peel police are searching for a Black male, aged between 35 and 40, suspected of committing two separate sexual assaults on Monday involving a woman in her 20s and a minor.

In Hamilton, the police Hate Crime Unit is investigating an incident at the Solidarity Place Worker Education Centre, where a masked individual allegedly placed neo-Nazi and anti-Black stickers on the property. The incident also involved threatening words scratched into a door and a subsequent confrontation with individuals identified as white nationalists.

In the Durham region, 63-year-old Faruk Dewan has been charged with 11 counts of sexual assault and 11 counts of sexual interference following an investigation into the abuse of two children in Pickering and Toronto between November 2025 and July 2026.

Additionally, Toronto Police are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect involved in a suspected hate-motivated stabbing near Queens Quay West and Lower Spadina Avenue. The suspect allegedly used racial slurs and anti-Sikh remarks before attacking a victim.
