Ontario Provincial Police charge three drivers with impaired operation in Huntsville
The Huntsville detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged three individuals with impaired operation following separate incidents in Huntsville.
On August 3, 2026, Madelyn Smith, 27, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and drugs after her vehicle ended up in a ditch on Highway 60. On August 7, Victoria Degroot, 30, was charged with similar offenses following a disturbance investigation on Bear Cave Road. On August 8, Jennifer Botting, 28, was charged with operating while impaired after a traffic stop on Greer Road.
All three accused have been released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge in September.
