Ontario Provincial Police involved in impaired driving arrest and highway crash

Police from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested 30‑year‑old Bryce Studiman of Ramara Township after a traffic complaint in Fenelon Township. He was charged with operating while impaired with a blood‑alcohol concentration over 80 mg, received a 90‑day licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded.

In a separate incident, an OPP cruiser collided with a white SUV on the Queen Elizabeth Way near Centennial Parkway in Hamilton. Two people were hospitalized as a precaution, and the crash caused lane closures that disrupted traffic for several hours. The OPP is investigating the cause of the collision.
