Ontinyent to host inaugural craft beer market

The Mercat de Dalt in Ontinyent will host its first Craft Beer Market on Saturday, October 24. Organized by the cultural association Art i Tast in collaboration with the local City Council, the event is scheduled to run from 12:00 to 19:00.

Attendees can sample various craft beers from the Valencian Community, Alicante, Murcia, and Catalonia, including high-alcohol varieties up to 9 degrees and non-alcoholic options. The event will feature tapas, live music, and artisanal products. Entry to the market is free, with beer tastings priced at 3 euros.

This initiative is part of the ‘Dissabtes de Mercat’ program, a municipal strategy designed to revitalize the local commercial space and attract new visitors by encouraging local associations to organize community-focused activities.
