Onyoné Corp secures advisory contracts with four NPB stars

Onyoné Corporation, a sports‑health‑medical apparel company based in Nagaoka, Niigata, announced advisory contracts with four professional baseball players: Kitayama Wataru of the Hokkaido Nippon‑Ham Fighters, Kondo Kensuke of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, Takuya Kai of the Yomiuri Giants, and Shintaro Fujinami of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars. The players will serve as development staff, providing advice on materials, fabrics, garment design and performance‑enhancing apparel as the company expands its baseball‑wear line. The agreement aims to strengthen Onyoné’s “science‑driven activewear” by incorporating athlete feedback on climate, schedule and stadium conditions. Onyoné, founded 59 years ago, markets its products as lightweight, temperature‑regulating garments that support athletes’ performance.
