Ooapas launches free online educational diploma in Morelia

The Morelia Water, Sewerage, and Sanitation Operator (Ooapas) has launched a free, fully online diploma in Educational Innovation and Mindfulness. Part of the ‘Guardianes del Agua’ program, the initiative aims to support the training and professional development of teachers, educational staff, and interested citizens.

The program will run from September 2026 to February 2027, consisting of 120 curricular hours divided into three modules. These modules focus on educational innovation, educational inclusion, and the application of mindfulness in educational settings. Topics include active methodologies, collaborative learning environments, and neurodivergence.

Ooapas Director General Adolfo Torres Ramírez stated that the organization seeks to expand its social and educational reach, noting that water conservation requires informed and committed citizens.
