Ooono announces new Co-Driver NO3 traffic assistant

Danish manufacturer Ooono has unveiled the Co-Driver NO3, the third generation of its traffic assistant device. Unlike previous models that relied solely on audio signals, the NO3 features a Focus Display designed to provide context for upcoming hazards.

The display informs drivers of the specific type of danger ahead, such as speed cameras, accidents, construction sites, or other obstacles, while also indicating the distance to the hazard. In the case of radar controls, the device will display the applicable speed limit.

To minimize driver distraction, the device utilizes physical buttons rather than a touchscreen. Users can initiate a hazard report by pressing the sides of the display; if the action is not canceled within five seconds, the report is sent automatically. The device is scheduled for market launch on October 28, 2026.
