Ooredoo extends deadline for Algeria's Étoile Montante student competition

Ooredoo announced an exceptional extension of the submission period for the third edition of its "Étoile Montante" competition. The new deadline is Thursday 20 August 2026, responding to student requests for more time to finalize their work.

The competition challenges participants to explore the theme “Artificial intelligence and the future of information in Algeria: challenges and perspectives.” Submissions may be uploaded via an online platform (https://ore.do/etoile-montante-participation) or sent by email to etoilemontante@ooredoo.dz. It is open to individual university students, who may submit one entry written in Arabic, Tamazight, French or English.

Through the contest, Ooredoo aims to promote academic excellence, innovation and the development of digital talent in Algeria, encouraging young people to contribute ideas for the country’s information future.
