Ooredoo launches Walletii mobile wallet in Tunisia

Ooredoo Fintech, in partnership with Ooredoo Tunisia, has launched Walletii by Ooredoo, a mobile wallet designed to facilitate daily digital payments and promote financial inclusion in Tunisia.

The service allows users to pay household bills, send and receive money, and perform secure deposits or withdrawals through licensed agents. Additionally, customers can settle daily expenses, such as groceries, using a QR code system via a secure mobile application.

To mark the launch, the company is offering a back-to-school promotion. Until September 15, users who pay tuition fees through the app will receive 100% instant cashback for up to three children per customer. Eyas Assaf, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, stated that the initiative aims to broaden access to secure digital financial services while supporting the country's digital economy transformation.
