Ooredoo Maldives promotes digital literacy and security initiatives

Ooredoo Maldives has launched several initiatives focused on digital safety and security. The company conducted digital literacy and scam awareness sessions for senior citizens in Male’ and Hulhumale’. Held in collaboration with the Maldives Police Service, these sessions aimed to help elderly participants identify fraudulent calls, phishing links, and impersonation attempts while teaching them how to protect sensitive information such as passwords and banking details.

Additionally, Ooredoo Maldives has been named the Official Digital Partner for the Safety & Security Conference Maldives 2026. Organized by the Maldives Association of Fire, Safety and Security Industry, the conference will focus on technology, innovation, and digitally enabled security solutions to build a more resilient destination.
