Police conduct multiple operations and arrests across the Netherlands

Several criminal incidents and police operations have been reported across various Dutch locations.

In Ommen, a large-scale police operation involving the Special Interventions Service (DSI) led to the arrest of a man suspected of firearm possession and threats. The incident, which began with a domestic dispute, forced the early closure and eventual cancellation of a local flea market.

In Maastricht, the Malberg neighborhood has been designated a security risk area following unrest involving minors. Two juveniles were arrested for arson and public violence, prompting local authorities to implement preventive search powers to maintain order.

Other notable incidents include the arrest of a suspect following a stabbing in Oosterhout that left a man seriously injured, and an incident in Barendrecht where two municipal enforcement officers sustained injuries, including a concussion, during an arrest. Additionally, police in Dieren are searching for two men captured on camera following a series of residential burglaries.
