Opatija to host ‘Dirigenti’ Mozart concert-performance for children

The concert-performance ‘Dirigenti’ will be held at the Gervais Center in Opatija on Saturday, October 17, at 18:00. Produced by the Osijek Cultural Center and directed by Ivan Kristijan Majić, the production is designed to introduce children and families to the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart through humor and play.

The plot follows two stage workers preparing the stage and distributing instruments. Their antics lead to a series of comedic situations, including chases and hiding, as they interact with the orchestra and a strict conductor. The performance features a cast including Silvijo Švast, Hana Schönfeld, and Grgur Grgić, accompanied by a musical ensemble performing various instruments such as violin, viola, cello, and flute.

This event is part of the third season of the Konci.hr project, a national platform of the Croatian Association of Music Organizers (HUGO). The project involves five partner cities and 35 events throughout 2026.
