An OPay official, speaking on condition of anonymity, described the claims as inaccurate. The company stated that any major changes to its account system would be communicated through its official channels. This denial follows previous reassurances from the digital payment platform regarding its operational continuity after earlier rumors suggested a shutdown in late 2026.
