OPEKA announces emergency A21 Child Allowance payment

OPEKA has announced an emergency supplementary payment for the A21 Child Allowance, scheduled for Friday, October 9. This decision follows a technical issue involving IDYKA SA, which prevented the timely update of student enrollment data for the new school year. This data discrepancy meant that certain applications could not be processed during the initial cycle.

To resolve the issue, OPEKA is re-processing affected applications to ensure as many eligible beneficiaries as possible receive the funds. The electronic platform for the A21 allowance reopened on Monday, October 5, at 08:00, and will remain available for new applications or modifications until Friday, November 13, 2026, at 18:00.

In a previous disbursement on September 30, OPEKA distributed approximately 70.58 million euros to 422,148 beneficiaries.
