Opel Astra targets Greek and Italian markets with diesel and hybrid offers

Opel is positioning the Astra model through various regional market strategies in Greece and Italy. In Greece, the diesel version of the Astra is highlighted as the most affordable diesel model available, catering to high-mileage drivers seeking fuel efficiency and long range.

In Italy, Opel is promoting the Astra Hybrid Edition (145 CV) with a specific financing offer valid through August 2026. This promotion includes discounts of up to 9,000 euros, allowing for monthly installments of 189 euros under specific conditions.

Despite these promotional efforts, recent market data indicates challenges for the model. In Europe, Astra registrations saw a significant decline in June compared to the previous year, even as overall Opel sales in Europe increased during the first half of 2026.
