Opel expands Frontera SUV range with new Start version
Opel has expanded its Frontera SUV lineup by introducing a new entry-level version called the Start. This addition lowers the model's starting price to approximately 20,530 euros, representing a reduction of up to 2,500 euros compared to previous entry configurations.
The Frontera range now includes three trim levels: Start, Edition, and GS. A new 1.2-liter turbo gasoline engine producing 100 hp, paired with a six-speed manual transmission, is now available across all three trims. For those seeking electrification, the model remains available in hybrid (110 hp) and fully electric (113 hp with a 44 kWh battery) variants.
The Start version features 16-inch black steel wheels, black mirror covers, and black bumper protection elements. Standard interior equipment includes a 10-inch digital driver display, air conditioning, a six-way adjustable driver's seat, and a smartphone holder intended to serve as the primary interface for navigation and media. The vehicle offers a boot capacity of 460 liters, which expands to approximately 1,600 liters with the rear seats folded.
