Opel Grandland Electric AWD launched with 1,350 kg towing capacity
Opel has introduced the Grandland Electric AWD, the brand's first all-electric vehicle featuring all-wheel drive. Designed for versatility, the SUV is capable of towing up to 1,350 kg, making it suitable for transporting trailers, boats, or heavy sports equipment.
The vehicle is powered by two electric motors, one for each axle, delivering a total system output of 239 kW (325 CV) and a maximum torque of 509 Nm. This performance allows for an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds when not towing. It features four driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, and 4WD.
Equipped with a 73 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery, the Grandland Electric AWD offers a WLTP-rated range of 502 km. When using a fast public charger, the battery can charge from 20% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. The model also includes advanced features such as Intelli-Seat front seats and frequency-selective damping on top-tier versions.
