Opel launches Mokka GSE high-performance electric crossover
Opel has introduced the Mokka GSE, a high-performance electric compact crossover that incorporates technology derived from its rally racing division. The vehicle features a 207 kW (281 hp) electric motor and 345 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 200 km/h. This makes it the fastest all-electric production car currently offered by the brand.
To enhance its driving dynamics, the Mokka GSE utilizes several motorsport-inspired components, including a Torsen limited-slip differential, a specially developed chassis with specific axles, and shock absorbers equipped with hydraulic end stops. The steering and braking systems have also been tuned for a more sporty feel, bridging the gap between the Mokka GSE Rally competition model and a daily-use road vehicle.
