Opel to debut Astra GSE Line at Paris Motor Show

Opel is expanding its ‘Grand Sport Electric’ (GSE) philosophy to the Astra model, with the new Astra GSE Line set to debut at the Paris Motor Show. The vehicle, manufactured in Rüsselsheim, will feature enhanced dynamic design elements, including specific color schemes under the Opel Vizor and 17 or 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The Astra GSE Line will offer multiple powertrain options, including diesel, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric systems. It is expected to be available on the market starting in the spring of 2027. This move follows the application of the GSE branding to other models like the Mokka GSE and Corsa GSE, which focus on high performance and advanced technology.

Opel continues to integrate motorsport expertise into its production models, utilizing racing insights from the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup and its upcoming entry into Formula E with the Opel GSE 27FE.
