Opel to debut STX Concept at Paris Motor Show

Opel has announced the world debut of the STX Concept, also known as the Sports Tourer eXperimental Concept, at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The design study serves as a rolling laboratory to showcase the brand’s future aesthetic direction and engineering principles, specifically focusing on aerodynamic station wagons.

CEO Florian Huettl stated that the STX Concept reflects a vision for future family vehicles with high aerodynamic efficiency and incorporates a next-generation design language that will influence upcoming production models. The prototype aims to bridge historical utility with modern electric vehicle architecture.

In addition to the STX, Opel will showcase high-performance electric developments, including the GSE 27FE Formula E racing car and the Corsa GSE, a fully electric sports variant. The company continues to emphasize its commitment to the station wagon body style despite shifting market trends toward SUVs.
