Opel Astra GSE Line to debut with multiple powertrain options

Opel has announced the upcoming launch of the Astra GSE Line, a new sportier trim level designed to replace the existing GS package. The model is scheduled for its public debut at the Paris Motor Show and is expected to enter the European market in the spring of 2027.

Unlike previous GSE models such as the Mokka and Corsa, which were exclusively electric, the Astra GSE Line will be available with a variety of powertrains. This includes internal combustion engines, mild hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and fully electric options. The most powerful electric version is expected to deliver 280 hp (206 kW).

The GSE Line features enhanced aesthetic details, such as specific color schemes under the Opel Vizor, GSE Line branding on the bumpers, and 17-inch or 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The interior will also reflect a more dynamic character with bright yellow stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and door panels, alongside aluminum sport pedals.
